But no matter how great a powertrain looks on paper, the true test of a truck is in the payload and towing capacities. Thankfully, the 2021 Ram 3500 more than lives up to expectations. The gas V8 can carry up to 1,470kg in its pickup bed while hauling up to 7,652kg behind.
The figures for the diesel-equipped 3500 models are even more impressive, with a maximum payload capacity of 3,484kg and a mammoth towing rating of up to 16,828kg. If you need a genuine workhorse in a pickup format, you can't go wrong with the 2021 Ram 3500.
Infotainment Technology
And while the Ram 3500 might be all about power, the interior carries an impressive amount of infotainment technology. Touchscreens range from 5" on the basic trim through 8.4" in the middle, topped out by a huge 12" option. Both of the larger screens offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, while integrated navigation is an available extra. Lastly, the standard four-speaker audio can be upgraded to an intermediate 10-speaker system or a premium 17-speaker rig on the higher trims.
